Exhibitions

Our extensive book and object collections give us the opportunity to put together exhibitions on specific themes.

The holdings of the Edo-bunko with its (mostly illustrated) exhibits from the Edo period are ideal for this purpose. Rarities from the library are also available for exhibition purposes. This requires contractual agreements that also regulate insurance coverage for the objects.

Between 1850 and 1930, there was a Japanese fashion in Europe, starting in Paris, which influenced not only art but also large parts of everyday life.
