Library and collections
PLEASE NOTE! The library is generally open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Since the library has several locations, we are not always on site. Please call us in advance or send an e-mail to: bibliotheque@ceeja-japon.com to arrange an appointment.
The CEEJA Japan Library consists of several departments:
The CEEJA Japan Library offers users a wide range of important works on Japan. This also includes access to a large selection of DVDs, video cassettes and soon also audio CDs.
The CEEJA Japan Library is a "living" library. From the beginning, it has been supported by donations, some of them substantial, from numerous sponsors, and it is also expanded and kept up to date through regular acquisitions.
The library supports the Musée Européen du Manga et de l'Anime (MEMA), which is currently being founded, by building up a collection of books on the academic study of manga and anime.
