Historical photographs from the Meiji period (1868-1912) to the present in various sizes (some hand-coloured; cartes de visite etc.).
Special photo albums that were compiled for specific occasions are worth mentioning. These include the album of a German prisoner of war in Japan during the First World War, and an album on the Japanese Emperor's visit to Europe.
